The final book in the Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi has been kept deeply under wraps until now.
Though it doesn’t hit store shelves until February 2014, we finally get a glimpse of it with a title and cover reveal.
So here is the cover for Ignite Me:
I love the colors with the flowers and plant life in this cover. And the bird in the eye, while subtle, jumps out at you once you notice it. These covers sure do stand out on store shelves with their gorgeously entrancing eyes.

Just moments ago, the brand new cover for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was revealed live at The Scholastic Store in NYC. Over the past few months, Scholastic has been revealing the new covers in different ways, the most recent being revealed at Comic-Con. Now we’ve reached the day where we can finally see what the final book will look like and being the waiting period for when we can add these beauties to our shelves. Or if you’re like me, your HP shrine.
So without further ado, check out the brand new cover for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
Okay, so you had me at “space station” but when you add aliens into the mix, I’m sold. Cecil Castellucci has written some pretty fantastic fantasy books for teens and children alike but now she’s jumping into sci-fi full force. And I can’t wait.
Here’s the official synopsis to give you a glimpse into the story:
On their way to start a new life, Tula and her family travel on the Prairie Rose, a colony ship headed to a planet in the outer reaches of the galaxy. All is going well until the ship makes a stop at a remote space station, the Yertina Feray, and the colonist’s leader, Brother Blue, beats Tula within an inch of her life. An alien, Heckleck, saves her and teaches her the ways of life on the space station.
When three humans crash land onto the station, Tula’s desire for escape becomes irresistible, and her desire for companionship becomes unavoidable. But just as Tula begins to concoct a plan to get off the space station and kill Brother Blue, everything goes awry, and suddenly romance is the farthest thing from her mind.
Castellucci will be signing ARCs of Tin Star at Comic-Con, on July 18th at 3pm in the MacKids booth, #1220; so basically if any of my friends happen to snag an extra copy of it for me, I will love you forever.
Unfortunately, Tin Star isn’t available until February 25, 2014. But in the mean time, you should pick up Across the Universe by Beth Revis or Icons by Maragaret Stohl!
I don’t even hide the fact that I am a huge fan of author Victoria Schwab and her previous novels, The Near Witch and The Archived. And it’s no surprise that her upcoming release, Vicious, not only blew me away, but also reassured the fact that she is one of the most well-versed, dynamic writers out there and definitely one of my favorites.
Though I’ve yet to review it (coming closer to release), I can assure readers that this book will invade your brain intensely and leave you with such a book hangover that you’ll be lost for a week.
Now, in case you haven’t seen it yet, the original US cover is pretty much one of the most gorgeous covers to enter the literary world. Not only that but she has an eshort releasing in August called Warm Up that also has fantastic cover art. So it’s no surprise that when Vicious was picked up by her UK publisher, Titan Books, she received an equally gorgeous cover. Seriously guys, this girl is pretty blessed by the cover gods.
Here is the original US and eshort covers, illustrated by Victo Ngai.
And here is the brilliant UK cover!
Seriously though, how gorgeous is this cover?! I am now officially buying both the US and UK editions of this book. Vicious arrives in the US on September 24th, 2013 and in the UK this coming January! This is one you do not want to miss!

Entertainment Weekly revealed the title and cover of the final book in Ally Carter’s Gallagher Girls series yesterday. They also spoke with the author herself about writing the final book in a series and giving it a proper send off.
“I can’t believe the sixth — and final — Gallagher Girls book is here. I’ve been working on this series and living with these characters since 2005. Saying goodbye to them has been bittersweet, but I’m so grateful to be able to give the series a proper send-off. So few authors have that luxury. Will the ending make readers cry? I don’t know. All I can say is that this author cried buckets.”
Official synopsis for United We Spy:
“Cammie Morgan has lost her father and her memory, but in the heart-pounding conclusion to the best-selling Gallagher Girls series, she finds her greatest mission yet. Cammie and her friends finally know why the terrorist organization called the Circle of Cavan has been hunting her. Now the spy girls and Zach must track down the Circle’s elite members to stop them before they implement a master plan that will change Cammie—and her country—forever.”
I have not yet read this series (even though I’ve wanted to start it and I’ve heard good things about it), but I still really love the uniformity of the covers in this series. They all fit so perfectly together!
When I first saw the cover of What’s Left of Me by Kat Zhang when it was revealed last year, I was floored by how simplistic and awesome it was. It’s like an optical illusion. So when the cover for its sequel Once We Were was revealed today over on Publishing Crawl, I was reminded of how much I loved the first cover.
So here it is:
I love how it has two profiles together as well as the face within. It’s an absolutely beautiful cover!
And just look at how gorgeous the first two covers look together!
Eva was never supposed to have survived this long. As the recessive soul, she should have faded away years ago. Instead, she lingers in the body she shares with her sister soul, Addie. When the government discovered the truth, they tried to “cure” the girls, but Eva and Addie escaped before the doctors could strip Eva’s soul away.
Now fugitives, Eva and Addie find shelter with a group of hybrids who run an underground resistance. Surrounded by others like them, the girls learn how to temporarily disappear to give each soul some much-needed privacy. Eva is thrilled at the chance to be alone with Ryan, the boy she’s falling for, but troubled by the growing chasm between her and Addie. Despite clashes over their shared body, both girls are eager to join the rebellion.
Yet as they are drawn deeper into the escalating violence, they start to wonder: How far are they willing to go to fight for hybrid freedom? Faced with uncertainty and incredible danger, their answers may tear them apart forever.
What do you think of the cover? Which of the two is your favorite?
This morning, the cover for Allegiant by Veronica Roth was revealed on The Today Show and we shared it here on the blog! And now that the covers are all revealed, let’s take a look at them all together!
Wow! Now that’s a vision! I can’t even pick favorite. So here’s your chance to decide! Which cover is your favorite?!
Also, any guesses as to why the wave instead of a faction symbol? My guess is because they will purge all of the factions so they are no more…hence wave.
As we all know, the final book in the Divergent trilogy has to be one of the most anticipated books of the year, if not THE most anticipated!
Even the The Today Show has locked in on how big this series is and chose to reveal it’s cover on live national television today with Ryan Seacrest revealing it alongside Roth.
Below we’ve captured a snapshot of the cover from our television with a hi-res image on the way. Check it out!
How fantastic is this cover, guys?! Seriously three of the most gorgeous book covers I’ve ever seen!

A virus that had once been contained has returned, and soon no place will be left untouched by its destruction. But when seventeen-year-old Cheyenne wakes up in Elysian Fields—a subdivision cut off from the world and its monster-creating virus—she is thrilled to have a chance at survival.
At first, Elysian Fields, with its beautiful houses and manicured lawns, is perfect. Teo Richardson, the older man who stole Cheyenne’s heart, built it so they could be together. But when Teo tells Cheyenne there are tests that she and seven other couples must pass to be worthy of salvation, Cheyenne begins to question the perfection of his world.
The people they were before are gone. Cheyenne is now “Persephone,” and each couple has been re-named to reflect the most tragic romances ever told. Everyone is fighting to pass the test, to remain in Elysian Fields. Teo dresses them up, tells them when to move and how to act, and in order to pass the test, they must play along.
If they play it right, then they’ll be safe.
But if they play it wrong, they’ll die.
And here is the full cover!
Mary Gray has a fascination with all things creepy. That’s why all her favorite stories usually involve panic attacks and hyperventilating. In real life, she prefers to type away on her computer, ogle over her favorite TV shows, and savor fiction. When she’s not immersed in other worlds, she and her husband get their exercise by chasing after their three children. The Dollhouse Asylum is her first novel.
Be sure to follow Mary Gray on Twitter and her website to keep up to date with her and The Dollhouse Asylum! Be sure to also add this book to your Goodreads and share it with your friends! You don’t want to miss this one!
