'Insurgent' Adds Three New Actors

The past week has been back-to-back Insurgent casting news. With production on the second film in the Divergent franchise starting very soon, it's about time we're seeing so many names pop up. And with Divergent sweeping the box office this past March, it's no wonder that those cast are some pretty big names.

First off, we have Naomi Watts, who has landed the role of Evelyn, leader of the Factionless, in Insurgent and two Allegiant films.

Next up is Daniel Dae Kim who has been cast as Jack Kang, representative of the Candor Faction. You may recognize him from his work on Lost and Hawaii Five-O.

And lastly, up-and-coming actress Rosa Salazar has been cast to play Lynn.

Lynn is a Dauntless born. The first thing that Tris notices about her is her shaved head. In Divergent she is the second in a group of Dauntless born initiates.

She is kinda mean to Tris, though in Insurgent they get better acquainted.

Lynn blames herself for her sisters paralyzation. She has a sister – Shauna and a brother – Hector. She is Marlene’s best friend. She was unhappy with Marlene and Uriah’s relationship – and in the book it was revealed it’s cause she had a crush on Marlene. (via Fangirlish)

Insurgent hits theaters March 20, 2015.
