Book Trailer: The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

I am a huge fan of Holly Black. It's a known fact. Well, at least if it wasn't known before, it is now. Her stories are fantastic and so well-crafted that I find myself falling into each world she creates very easily. Now her next big book is one that I am openly in love with.

While The Coldest Girl in Coldtown doesn't hit shelves until September 3, the book trailer was just released online. Check it out for yourself:

Here's the official synopsis:
“Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey—a constant party free for the price of blood and broadcast to the world 24-hours a day. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave. One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself.”

Holy freaking moley! Yes, I just said that. I cannot wait to dive into this world and learn more about the Coldtowns. It sounds epic. And that trailer?! Just from a technical standpoint of being mostly one shot tracking through the house is mind-blowing. Whoever did it has my respect. Good job.

Thanks to EW for sharing this!
