First Trailer for the Beautiful Creatures Movie and a Look Behind-the-Scenes!

A supernatural love story set in the South, Beautiful Creatures tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Alice Englert), a mysterious new girl. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town. Oscar(R) nominee Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King, P.S. I Love You) directs from his adaptation of the first novel in the best-selling series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro), newcomer Alice Englert, Academy Award(R) winner Jeremy Irons (Reversal of Fortune) Oscar(R) nominee Viola Davis (The Help, Doubt), Emmy Rossum (TV's Shameless) and Academy Award(R) winner Emma Thompson (Howard's End, Sense and Sensibility).

You guys know how big a fan I am of the Beautiful Creatures series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, so you can imagine how excited I am for the upcoming film. Well, Extra just released the first trailer from the movie and it's fan-freaking-tastic. This just makes me so much more excited to see the movie! February needs to get here, like yesterday.

Check it out!

Be claimed on February 13th.

What did you think? Does this make you even more excited for the movie? Were you let down by any of the casting?

Personally, the Ravenwood Manor scenes were my fave. Like the one with the table spinning and Ridley flying out the window! Oh man. So fierce! And Emma Thompson stole the show for sure. She embodies Mrs. Lincoln like nobody else could. Oh, and Viola Davis? Damn. Perfection.

Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! Let's discuss it!
