Best Books of 2011

This year was such an amazing year for book releases that I wish I could've read and kept up with them all. It was also the first year I was able to attend BEA, which was such a crazy and awesome event that I was so lucky to attend. On top of that, Novel Thoughts turned a year old, we added a new reviewer, Jennifer, started vlogging at Interrobang YA, and saw or little blog grow tremendously.

Now that the end of the year has come, we thought we'd share with you some of our favorites that we read in  2011 and have linked all of our reviews to them as well. So here we go!

Across the Universe by Beth Revis
The Dark and Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan
Red Glove by Holly Black
City of Fallen Angels by Cassie Clare
Hourglass by Myra McEntire
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Clockwork Prince by Cassie Clare
Every You, Every Me by David Levithan
Where She Went by Gayle Forman
Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley
Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margie Stohl
Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by David Levithan & Rachel Cohn

We can't wait to see what 2012 has for us but we already know it will be a spectacular year of awesome!

  1. Great list! The only one I've read is Beautiful Chaos, which I really enjoyed, although I loved If I Stay so am really keen on reading Where She Went.
Mine is at YA Yeah Yeah if you'd like to take a look.
