In My Mailbox (35) AND first VLOG!!

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

So I know this is our first IMM in a few weeks, but that's because we haven't gotten much. So this is our cumulative mailbox. We also decided that if we were going to start doing vlogs, why not start now? So we did. Here's our IMM:

Break by Hannah Moskowitz
Red Glove by Holly Black
Gone by Michael Grant
The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
Maria Mundi: The Midas Box by C.P. Taylor
City of Fallen Angels by Cassie Clare

The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente
A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young

I hope you liked the video! It was fun to make, but let us know your thoughts in the comments here or on Youtube. We would like to keep doing these, but it's up to you guys.

  1. You guys are still so adorable! :) I love when you two say "Monday" at the same time. Hehe. Also dig the bookshelves in the background; I could smell the CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS a mile away.

Happy reading. Definitely do more of these in the future! :) My IMM.

  2. Love the vlog! I got City of Fallen Angels as well, although I still need to read City of Ashes and City of Glass.

  3. You guys are super cool! Keep the vlogs. Great books! Enjoy ;)

  4. LOVE IT!! Yes, keep doing this....and were you talking about me???? Haha!! S&S sent the audiobook, so I'm going to start it as soon as I finish Clockwork Angel. I decided to listen to that one too before I started so everything would be fresh in my head. :)

  5. Nice shirt Jeffrey. Great V-log! I want to read the one praised by Holly Black & Neil Gaiman too!

  6. It is kind of weird seeing y'all in this format. I'm not used to knowing the people on the other side of the camera. I like it though.

  7. You guys are so cute! Must do more vlogs lol. Great books this week. :)

  8. LOVE! You guys should seriously keep doing vlogs! Like any of us could say something bad about you two. *eyeroll*

I really need to read the Mortal Instruments series already huh?

Hope you guys enjoy all the awesome books :)

  9. The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making is quite a mouth full but seems like an interesting read. Looking forward on your thoughts on that. I haven't read Red Glove yet but I'm also looking forward to your review on Monday.
Really cool V-log! You guys should definitely continue it.

  10. You two should definitely vlog every week :)

  11. I didn't like The Sky is Everywhere - I thought it was kinda silly...

    In My Mailbox

  12. Haha, this vlog is awesome!! You guys definitely need to do another one soon!! The Sky is Everywhere is amazing, hope you enjoy it! :)

Btw, Jeremy, you t-shirt is awesome.
    Just sayin'

  13. Great vlog! I wouldn't be able to do that at all! Too many reasons including camera shy and not being technology apt!

    Here's my IMM

    Happy Reading!

    Old Follower
    Jessica@a GREAT read

  14. I don't prefer one over the other, but you don't sound bad via audio like you said to me. >:P

  15. I hope you love The Sky Is Everywhere. It's one of my favourites.

  16. I liked it... I perfer vlogs to pictures...

as long as you guys stay on the same side... so we can tell whos who.

  17. You guys sound EXACTLY alike. I bet that's how me and my twin sound on video. Haha.

The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland looks great. I want to get my hands on it. :)

    Hooked to Books

  18. Great vlog! YAY for COFA and Red Glove! Both of those are awesome!!!

  19. The Sky is Everywhere was also my favourite read from last year, so I hope you enjoy it!

It's pathetic of me but I still haven't started The City of Bones. I'm waiting for it to arrive from NZ...which should be in about 2 weeks.

I look forward to seeing more vlogs from you guys!

    I want Jeffrey's shirt. GIZZIT!

  20. LOVE VLOGS! i'm not brave enough to do them because i tend to ramble on and on without anyone else there to tell me to shut up. lol

  21. You guys sound like a lot of fun. I feel like it's pretty rare to find male YA bloggers, so it's awesome when I do come across some! We seem to like a lot of the same types of books, so I'm a new follower :).

The vlog was great, too. Love the Dr.Who shirt. Did you get it from TeeFury? ;)

Feel free to check out what's in my mailbox this week.

  22. Yay vlog! I agree with others that you two are adorable and I hope you continue to do more vlogs. They're fun to do, aren't they?

I feel like I can tell you two apart now that I've seen this video. We'll have to see if that's true if you're both coming to BEA, lol.

  23. Great 1st ever Vlog. Hope you guys keep it up. Found you on twitter, will continue to follow.

If you get a chance, stop by my IMM

  24. Yes, you should definitely do more vlogs!
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland is amazing! Cat Valente's writing is so, so beautiful. I'm sure you'll love it! :)

  26. Ooo I LOVED your Vlog...yes, keep doing them! I'm still waiting on my copy of COFA from Barnes & Noble. I can't wait to read that letter.
You can check out my mailbox here:

  27. Much like this is your first vlog I recently just did my very first IMM. My blog is relatively new as I dropped a themed one recently but I am very excited and have loved getting lost in book blog world!

  28. Love the vlog, I think you need to keep doing them!

  29. Good job guys! I'm jealous of your bookshelves.
