Giveaway: The Dark and Hollow Places ARC by Carrie Ryan

Now what kind of person would I be if I'd already read DHP and have an extra copy lying around, but never gave it to anyone else? Right! A terrible one! Especially seeing as it's Carrie Freakin' Ryan and the finale of her amazeballs series! That is why I am giving away my ARC to YOU GUYS! I've already bought my own final copy so I've got no need for this one!

Plus I just want to share my love for this book even more to you. And if you don't know how much I love this series by now, well, this entire zombie themed week was really ALL for these books (and Carrie).

So here we are. We've reached the point where you probably skimmed everything else I've said just to find the link to click in order to enter. Well, I'm sorry. This is a comment only giveaway so no little Google Form is needed.

All you have to do it leave a comment with your name, email address, and country. AND (don't forget this), tell me you're favorite zombie book, movie, show, etc. ( and please don't everyone just say The Walking Dead). Also, tell me if you've read any of Carrie's books before. And that's it! As long as I can get in touch with you some how, that's all you've gotta do!

Here's the nitty gritty:
Contest IS International.
This ends this coming Sunday, March 27.
Comment must contain everything listed above.
No extra points for tweeting but I mean, it's Carrie Ryan AND a free book! Why wouldn't you want to tell others?!

Best of luck, guys!!

There are many things that Annah would like to forget: the look on her sister's face before Annah left her behind in the Forest of Hands and Teeth, her first glimpse of the Horde as they swarmed the Dark City, the sear of the barbed wire that would scar her for life. But most of all, Annah would like to forget the morning Elias left her for the Recruiters.

Annah's world stopped that day, and she's been waiting for Elias to come home ever since. Somehow, without him, her life doesn't feel much different than the dead that roam the wasted city around her. Until she meets Catcher, and everything feels alive again.

But Catcher has his own secrets. Dark, terrifying truths that link him to a past Annah has longed to forget, and to a future too deadly to consider. And now it's up to Annah: can she continue to live in a world covered in the blood of the living? Or is death the only escape from the Return's destruction?

OMG and if you haven't read Feed by Mira Grant you should branch out. It's a refreshing up to date zombie book. I've read the first 2 novels by Carrie Ryan. Adore them.

My fave zombie book is most definitely The Forest of Hands and Teeth (still have to read the 2nd one), and my fave TV show is The Walking Dead. Not just for the zombies, but that show has some of the best characterization I've seen in a while. :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. My fav. zombie flick has got to be Stephen King's 'Pet Sematary', 'cus hey, they are animals that die and come back to life, but if that doesn't count, I guess it would be between 'White Zombie' because Bela Lugosi is beyond brilliant and 'Shaun of the Dead' because it's hilarious! I have not heard of any zombie shows besides 'The Walking Dead', but I don't have AMC, so I can't watch it. ;(. My favorite zombie book is of course, Carrie Ryan's books and YES I have read both 'FH&T' and 'DTW', but 'Zombies vs Unicorns' comes in a close second, mainly because these are the only Zombie literature that I was actually able to read and enjoy, besides Carrie's short stories!

And favorite book would be: The Zombie Survival Guide.

Thanks for the giveaway! I have yet to read Carrie's series (ugh, I know -- it's on the TBR list though, and I've been eyeing the first book in the store the last few days...) but I've heard so many amazing things about it.

As for my own zombie favorites... I haven't really read any zombie books yet, so I'm gonna go with movies -- Shaun of the Dead for sure. And on a more serious zombie note, 28 Days Later. Scary stuff.
