To start off, Sarah Beth Durst released the cover of Drink, Slay, Love last night and it looks awesome!
What happens when a vampire is stabbed through the heart by a were-unicorn? She suddenly develops a very inconvenient conscience. Oops.
Next, James Dashner blogged today and released the German cover of The Maze Runner which is being published by Chicken House (same as UK pub) in April this year. It's pretty intense, I must say.
Thirdly, many of you contemporary readers are a huge fan of Sarah Dessen's books and recently she posted the entire first chapter of What Happened to Goodbye on her blog! Check it out HERE if you want to read it!
Finally, Warner Brothers released this first official image from Deathly Hallows: Part 2 featuring Matt Lewis as Neville Longbottom standing covered in blood. Check it out:
As you can see, that's a bloody determined (not to mention just simply bloody) Matthew Lewis as Neville Longbottom. Bellatrix Lestrange lingers behind him, backed by a horde of sinister Deatheaters.
Neville's grown up a lot over the years. In the first books and films, he was the really awkward and gentle kid who hung around in the background. Now he's morphed into the daring man who not only stood up to Voldemort's evildoers in Part One, but takes over for Harry at Hogwarts in Part Two. And when the battle commences, he gets to face one of Voldemort's closest allies. It looks like the above image could be that very moment, and it's nice to see Longbottom getting a bigger taste of the action.
