In My Mailbox (27)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren!

Just a word of warning to all readers. This is two weeks worth of books. I didn't post last week because I only received like 4 books and didn't feel it was necessary. But this week I got SO MANY books thanks to Nancy, who sent me tons of books since she was clearing out her shelves of old books. Now because of that, I present to you OMG IMM.

But first, I want to announce the winner of the signed Across the Universe ARC giveaway is...Loni Flowers!

Now not all of these books will be reviewed. Actually I can guarantee that most will NOT be reviewed, but I have them now to trade, giveaway, and donate as well as review what I please. Be prepared for an onslaught of books as there are 48 of them! I'll list in paragraph form so to not overwhelm you with such a long post.

I only bought one book, Across the Universe by Beth Revis, to get it signed at the release party. So that shows that all the rest were 1) free and 2) came in the mail! Here goes the rest.

Finished Copies: Beautiful Creatures and Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margie Stohl (for giveaway), Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry (to review), They Never Came Back by Caroline Cooney, Almost Perfect by Brian Katcher, The Dark Days of Hamburger Halpin by Josh Berk, Tutored by Allison Whittenberg, A Brief History of Montmaray by Michelle Cooper, Castration Celebration by Jake Wizner, Woods Runner by Garry Paulsen, Wishful Thinking by Alexandra Bullen, Giving Up the V by Serena Robar (signed), Wherever Nina Lies by Lynn Weingarten, and Vamped by Lucienne Diver.

2011 ARCs: Where She Went by Gayle Forman, The Midnight Palace by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Steel by Carrie Vaughn (can't wait to read!), So Shelly by Ty Roth, Fallen Angel by Heather Terrell, The Girl Who Became A Beatle by Greg Taylor, and Enclave by Anna Aguirre.

Older ARCs (2010 or earlier): Life, After by Sarah Darer Littman, Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick, Girl, Stolen by April Henry, Vixen by Jillian Larkin, Dead Beautiful by Yvonne Woon, The DUFF by Kody Keplinger, Empty by Suzanne Weyn, Halo by Alexandra Adornetto, Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel, The Line by Teri Hall, Hunger by Jackie Morse Kessler, Invisible Girl by Mary Hanlon Stone, The Awakening and The Guidance by Marley Gibson, My Soul to Take and My Soul to Save by Rachel Vincent, You Are So Undead to Me by Stacey Jay, The Plague by Joanne Dahme, Goth Girl Rising by Barry Lyga, Breathless by Jessica Warman, The Compound by S.A. Bodeen, and finally Shakespeare Makes the Playoffs and Shakespeare Bats Cleanup by Ron Koertge.

The top three books were a late Christmas gift from Carla (The Crooked Shelf) and she bought us the UK versions of HP and the Philosopher's Stone, HP and the Chamber of Secrets, and Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld!

And with that all said and done, we have finally reached the end of what I got in the past two weeks (but mostly this week)! If you aren't too overwhelmed yet and have made it this far in reading, please leave a comment telling me what books you got this week! And if you'd like to trade for any of the above ARCs, just email me or leave a comment telling me!

Hope you guys have a great week and happy reading!

  4. This week some books I ordered arrived: Dia Reeves' Slice of Cherry, Be With You by Takuji Ichikawa, and Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms by Fumiyo Kono.

The best book to arrive by far was a copy of Lauren DeStefano's WITHER to review! I totally squealed when I got the package on Friday, and I've been plowing through it all weekend.

Now if for any reason, in the future you want to trade Where She Went - let me know. I probably don't have anything you want, but I would jump through flaming hoops to get my hands on that book. :D
