Cover Reveal: Hourglass by Myra McEntire

If you have been around books for any length of time and have yet to here of this book, you have sorely been left out! That or you just haven't been paying attention to the excitement around you. Myra McEntire's debut novel, Hourglass, is one book I've been waiting on for a while, especially since we met back in September. Though at that time I didn't know who she was so it was a friendly "hello." But that's a side point. Hourglass will surely be one of Egmont's top books of 2011 and I'd love to show you the lovely cover but go give Myra's blog some love by viewing it there!

How lovely is that cover?! I love that she's standing on the wall and the way the designer made it so she was "falling." I cannot wait to get this book for review and even buy it when it hits shelves in May! Read more about the book below and also on Myra's blog you can enter for a chance to win a signed copy of Hourglass and to read her reactions on the cover!

About the book:
"Since the age of fourteen, Emerson Cole has seen strange things – dead things – swooning Southern Belles, soldiers, and other eerie apparitions of the past. She’s tried everything to get rid of the visions: medication, counseling, asylums. Nothing’s worked.

So when Emerson's well-meaning brother calls in yet another consultant from a mysterious organization called the Hourglass, Emerson’s willing to give it one last try.

Michael Weaver is no ordinary consultant. He's barely older than she is; he listens like no one she's ever met before; and he doesn't make her feel the least bit crazy. As Emerson ventures deeper into the world of the Hourglass, she begins to learn the truth about her past, her future--and her very life.

A seductive time-slip novel that merges the very best of the paranormal and science fiction genres, Myra McEntire’s Hourglass is a stunning debut from an author to watch."
